Pricing
A service fee of $25.00 applies to all quilts, plus $0.03 per square inch based on your quilt top dimensions.
Service includes:
- Consultation with a member of the Quilt Creative team
- Your choice of an edge-to-edge quilt pattern from our curated collection
- Your choice of thread color
- Trimming batting and backing after quilting
- Reusable storage bag
Batting and backing may be purchased in-store prior to quilting services. We offer Quilters Dream and Warm and Natural brands in 100% cotton and 80/20 cotton-poly blend options.
Preparing Your Quilt Top
Tips for best results:
- Inspect all seams to ensure they are secure and will not come undone.
- Press the quilt top thoroughly so it is as flat as possible.
- Clip all loose threads, especially dark thread on light fabrics, since threads can show through and be difficult to remove after quilting.
- Ensure your quilt top is square and free of extra fullness that could cause issues during quilting.
- For quilts with bias edges or pieced borders, stay stitch with a 1/8-inch seam allowance around the perimeter to reduce stretching.
- Backing fabric and batting should be 6 inches larger than the quilt top on all sides.
- Press backing to remove wrinkles. If backing is pieced, use a 1/2-inch seam, press it open, and remove selvages from pieced backing.
