Intro to Machine Sewing for New Sewists Class

Session #1 - Simple Drawstring Bag
Session #2 - 9 Patch Pillow
This is an introduction to machine sewing and will include an overview of basic tasks such as bobbin winding and threading, setting stitch length, etc. It is best to bring your own sewing machine to learn on. We do have loaner machines if needed. Other useful items to bring from home: fabric scissors, straight pins, Frixion erasable pen or chalk marker, extra machine needles. If you do not have all of these items, that's ok. There are tools to share in the classroom.
Note: This class is repeatable. If you take the class a second time, you will work on new projects.
Snacks and water bottles are encouraged in the classroom.
Materials needed: 4 fat quarters and thread
